  5. Bacon said, are incomplete. It‚Äôs not the spelled-out 
  6. essay, this is something highly compressed. It‚Äôs a 
  7. poetic form. And it calls for a lot of participation 
  8. on the part of the person regarding it or thinking 
  9. about it. You have to chew it over and mull it over 
  10. and work with it for a while before you understand 
  11. it fully. A good aphorism should keep you busy for 
  12. about a week. Sort of on the back burner kicking it 
  13. around and playing with it and exploring it, taking 
  14. it apart to see what you can get out of it and so
